Injunctions & Domestic Violence

Domestic abuse is any incidence of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (physical or emotional) between adults who are or have been in a relationship, or between family members.

Swift action is vital to limit the damage caused by domestic violence to the victim and their family, and to any dependent children. Our team of male and female case workers are here to help. We can assist with:

  • giving you straightforward legal advice
  • bringing criminal charge
  • obtaining a court order to prevent a violent or abusive person from molesting you and/or any children involved
  • obtaining an 'occupation order' to exclude a violent or abusive person from your home or other family property

We'll always listen to you and deal with matters sensitively, so you can make the right choices for you and break the cycle of violence and abuse. To get help, just contact us.
